Portfolio / Te Wananga o Aotearoa – Henderson Campus

An existing 2100m2 former car showroom and workshop was redeveloped into a 12 classroom plus support facilities campus.  The building was completely redeveloped internally and externally to suit Te Wananga o Aotearoa’s needs and to totally meet their brand standard (created by APG Architects).

The entrance was redeveloped to provide a significant entrance way and to create attention from the street to the campus.  Materials used are from chosen elements that contribute towards identifying Te Wananga o Aotearoa as a brand with the main stand out point being the use of timber structures and detailing in their buildings.

The building is now used as a teaching facility with high foot traffic volumes.  It is fitted out to a modern office level and serviced with current date and energy efficient light and mechanical fittings.
