APG Architects is an award-winning, Hamilton-based practice working across a wide range of projects in New Zealand and overseas. Our work spans commercial, healthcare, education, hospitality, resorts, and residential projects. There’s always plenty going on.

With our project pipeline continuing to grow, we’re looking to bring in experienced Architectural Technicians to join our team, including opportunities for external contractors to support delivery.

You’ll be involved in the design development and documentation of projects, working closely with a collaborative team who take their work seriously, but not themselves too seriously. (There may also be the occasional shared cake situation.)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Producing high-quality design development and construction documentation

  • Coordinating technical details across consultants and disciplines

  • Working on envelope, structural, and fire detailing across a range of projects

What we’re looking for:

  • Confident Revit skills

  • Experience with BIM 360

  • Good understanding of NZ Building Code and construction detailing

  • Commercial project experience (a must)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Clear communication and a practical, solutions-focused approach

  • 3D modelling skills are a bonus
