Nicola brings extensive experience to her role as Project Manager at APG Architects, working across healthcare, hospitals, emergency departments, laboratories, and commercial developments. She has led fitouts ranging from intimate office interiors to large-scale, highly technical facilities, ensuring that design intent, finishes, and spatial quality are delivered alongside practical construction outcomes. Her attention to detail ensures that every project not only functions efficiently but also reflects thoughtful design and high-quality interiors.

Nicola understands the construction process from multiple perspectives. She is skilled at coordinating design, documentation, and on-site delivery, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure every detail—from material selection and interior finishes to spatial planning—is carefully considered and executed. Her ability to translate complex design concepts into practical solutions ensures projects run smoothly while meeting client expectations.

On site, Nicola takes the lead in contract administration, construction observation, and defect inspections. Thomas is a skilled technician and BIM guru, having produced detailed documentation for a number of commercial projects including warehouses, car sales yards as well as education, health and residential projects.

With a robust knowledge across varying construction methodologies, NZ Standards, and the NZ Building Code, Thomas is a fastidious technician who brings a high level of detailing and logical methods to the varied projects he is involved in.

Complimenting his documentation skills, Thomas' role extends to coordinating and reviewing consultants various documents, to provide a seamless connection between all parties work before the documentation is issued for construction.

Thomas also plays an important role in supporting the design process, helping translate conceptual ideas into practical, buildable solutions. His attention to detail and technical expertise ensures that design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to outcomes that are both efficient to construct and high-quality in finish.

Julia brings a globally informed perspective to her role as an Architect, with a particular focus on the renewal and adaptation of existing buildings.

Having trained and worked in Russia, Julia developed an early appreciation for architecture that stands the test of time. This experience continues to shape her approach, with an emphasis on extending the life of buildings through considered, contemporary interventions.
