The second site for a well-known Hamilton café is located at the Te Rapa Shopping Centre.  The café is situated in a busy complex that has a lot of foot traffic and provides nearby commercial properties with coffee and food previously unavailable in the neighbourhood.

The brief for the fitout for LK Kitchen Hub was to upgrade the facilities working within the existing shell which had been a pharmacy for a number of years.

The café includes a new shopfront, seated capacity for 50 patrons, a completely new commercial kitchen and front of house serving area.

The tenancy is located in a building approximately 50 years old and it had to be brought up to current compliance levels with plumbing and fire requirements addressed and updated and made to suit the new commercial kitchen and public spaces.

The end result is a popular café that caters to the local market successfully with a comfortable environment that customers enjoy and appreciate.
