The Bay of Plenty region’s Tauranga Hospital required an on-site Pathlab facility that would provide the inhouse biological testing required.
The result is a five storey, design and built facility that houses up to 3000m2 of specialist diagnostic laboratory services.
The 5500m2 laboratory was designed to international standards for full compliance and incorporates a number of advanced medical analytical technologies. The new fitout facilitates histology, microbiology, transfusion, biochemistry, haematology, cytology and support services.
