The building is designed to house the LDV and SsangYong car sales showroom and workshop, growing two bands in the New Zealand market.

The site is a very prominent one and the building was designed to present to the major traffic flow with the showroom in the most prominent position.

The workshop is on the sheltered side, away from the prevailing winds.

Both brands are predominantly trade and industry vehicle, so an industrial aesthetic was chosen for the interior treatment, with exposed structure and services.

The total area is 1163m2.  

Signage opportunity was paramount with the forms of the exterior.

The business has gone from strength to strength since moving in.
